Dive boots and dive socks for scuba diving
If you are a scuba diver it is recommended that you invest in a pair of hard or medium-hard soled dive booties. This will provide comfort in the water and ensure that your feet are completely protected when walking on rocks or a shell-filled beach too. In closed-heel fins you can also wear dive socks, which provide extra warmth in cold conditions
Dive socks for spearfishing
If you are spearfishing, soft neoprene dive socks will be more comfortable and versatile as they will fit well in your closed-heel fins and still provide protection and warmth. When using your fins in the water for long periods of time, you can develop blisters if you do not wear neoprene dive socks for protection.
