Cressi is watersports equipment company and all products are made in Italy. The range suits divers, spearfishermen, snorkelers, and swimmers. Being the oldest scuba diving company worldwide, Cressi was the first to manufacture a mask with a dedicated nose pocket and as the first to design adjustable open-heeled fins.
In the early ‘40s the Italian brothers Egidio and Nanni Cressi begin to make masks and spearguns, all hand-made and with these origins, Cressi is the oldest scuba diving equipment company worldwide. The company’s first mask, the Sirena, was handcrafted in 1943 and that same mask was so popular it was sold for over 30 years in a row! In 1946 the Cressi company was officially founded in Genova, Italy. By 2005 the sister company Cressi Swim was established, with a focus on swimming equipment. As of 2011, Cressi is still fully-owned by the Cressi family.
