    Kid's Steamers

Kid's Steamers are full length wetsuits that cover everything except hands, face and feet & is the warmest type of wetsuit style available. Wetsuit Warehouse stocks the largest range of quality Billabong, Rip Curl, O'Neil and Xcel wetsuits, along with many more wetsuit brands, giving us the ability to provide you with a huge range of steamer wetsuit.

A steamer is a full wetsuit made from neoprene and covers your entire body from ankles and wrists up. Steamers range in thicknesses from 2mm to 9mm. For more about selecting the neoprene in a steamer, we refer to the wetsuits materials page.

Other things to look out for in a steamer are flexible neck, ankle and wrist seals; whether the steamer has a hood attached; and whether the steamer has reinforced knees and elbows.

To get the most out of your steamer we recommend washing it with the Aussie formulated Wetsuit Wash between uses to remove sweat, salt, bacteria and chlorine and to follow steps outlaid in our Wetsuit Maintenance Blog.

    Kid's Steamer Wetsuit Features

    • Full Length Arms & Legs
    • Back zip or Chest zip
    • Specially sized for Kids
    • Unisex Cuts:  The average body shape for girls and boys are pretty similar.  Not the same but wetsuit material is so stretchy (up to double it's original length with deformation) that it easily stretchs/shrinks to moderate changes in body shape - height is the most important bit.
    • Durable: Arguably the most crucial element in a kids suit!  Look for kneepads and Flatlock seams for the most durability - in saying that, flatlock is not the warmest nor the stretchiest seam.
