Probe and Lavacore in particular manufacture great quality neoprene and Lycra pants that are ultra-flexible, combine well with wetsuit tops, thermal tops and even go under dry suits. The pants provide wind protection, UV protection, rash protection and even stinger protection. Good pants don’t absorb water, have Flatlock and taped stitching, are not bulky and don’t increase your buoyancy significantly.
Neoprene and Lycra pants are used for snorkelling, scuba diving, triathlons and even swimming.
