Two Piece
A two-piece wetsuit consists of a jacket and either waist-high pants or long john-style pants with straps to go over the shoulder. A long john (or long jane, for women) covers your legs but doesn’t have sleeves. The way the beaver tail of the top locks with the bottom differs, but common systems are Velcro, sliding clips, and toggles.
Wetsuit Warehouse offers a selection of good-quality and affordable two-piece wetsuits that you can’t go wrong with. Simply purchase the two-piece wetsuit online today!

The advantage of a two-piece wetsuit
One advantage of two-piece wetsuits is that they tend to be more flexible around the waist due to the two separately moving parts. Two-piece wetsuits are easy to get in and out of and can be used all year round. In summer, simply wear the top of the two-piece with thermal pants or boardies.
Many two-piece wetsuits come with a hood because they are used more frequently in colder waters.
Favourite with spearfishermen
Spearfishermen prefer two-piece wetsuits to one-piece wetsuits because they tend to stay in the water longer than scuba divers and need open cell neoprene for more compression. The more compressed the wetsuit, the less buoyant you are, and if you are freediving that is what you are after in a wetsuit. Getting into an open cell neoprene one-piece would be very hard, so the two-piece remains the favourite for spearos. Scuba Divers have gone over to one-piece wetsuits, and don’t need the extra warmth of the double layers that the two-piece provide around the crotch and chest.
Two-piece wetsuits for spearfishing usually have camouflage colours, so you can blend in in the marine environment.
